I'm finally feeling better. I spent practically all Wednesday in bed. I barely talked. By Friday, I could talk normally without much pain or cough. It hasn't been my best Easter holiday, but I did read Le Pére Goriot and saw a couple of good movies (Branagh's Henry V and Millenium Part 1: Men who hate women).
That said, I have news regarding my trip. The first one, that I found a new course I want to apply for, but it needs a contemporary monologue. I was working on Shakespeare... so I'm switching to Tennesse Williams fast. By the way, other than his most famous plays, I can't find any plays by him in English! All bookstores have books by Williams, but in Spanish. Luckily, my Mum had an enlightened moment yesterday and said: "go to the Lincoln library!" I didn't even know that library existed. So that's where I'm headed for, on Monday.
Monday is also the day when the dates for my on-camera class get announced! Consequently, I'm close to an equally loved and hated stage previous to my trip: booking accomodation, flights, paying courses, making adjustments to my budget, etc. I have some experience in this, since I've travelled to Europe alone and occasionally make bookings at my survival job. It's not hard, but it's exhausting! There's all that stress of checking and double checking, looking for better prices and whatnot, and you ALWAYS seem to forget something and realize when you thought you were through. Looking at the bright side, with every aspect of the trip I solve, I feel it getting closer... I can hardly wait!
PS: Happy Easter!
