Dear Readers,
Whatever happened to my discipline? Once again, it took me an age to write. The past weeks have been busy indeed! Not only has my schedule been insane, it was also like living in an emotional rollercoaster.
My last week at Adler was pretty successful in terms of my lessons. Actually, after some good work at a scene I was having trouble with, my teacher came over to shake my hand- I felt so PROUD. My audition went well too, and actually, the day after I got back to Argentina, I received an invitation to join the Evening Conservatory at Stella in 2011. I felt happier than I can say.
Right now, I'm once again thinking about visas, but also about scholarships, grants, and, in other words, anything that could finance my trip. I'm also trying to rest since I'm still exhausted.
Being at Adler for two months has been a true blessing. In class, I met actors from all over the world. The faculty was incredible too. And above all, I'm moved at how welcoming and supportive of me they all were. And by the fact that they want me back. I still don't know how I'll manage, but I have to make it there again in January.
Hey, do you rent in buenos aires? cause i'm looking for a furnished apartments in buenos aires , do you have any info? or know which is a good zone in the city ?
ResponderEliminarActually, I don't, but I can ask around and let you know if I hear of anything useful. Good neighbourhoods are Palermo, Belgrano, Recoleta... You're fairly safe with those, although they're sort of pricey. Almagro is alright too, so long as you're not too close to the Abasto area. As a general rule, you want to be close to an avenue, so you'll have public transport and it'll be safer for you if you return late at night. I hope this helps. If you have further questions, you can email me to the address published in this blog. Good luck!
