Two important things have happened this weekend: 1) I had my first class and 2) I moved away from the hostel into an appartment, where I'll live for the rest of my stay.

Class. Wow! I can't even remember the last time I'd been so inspired by hearing a teacher speak. Or when a class (even an only theoretical one) had been that good. Plus, my on-camera class will teach me exactly what I need to learn! Each class, will show up and be given a scene, which we'll prepare on the spot! Each week, we get a different scene and a different partner. By the end of the course, we can get the scenes if we ask for them.

As for the apt, it is lovely and luminous, and it's only 13 blocks away from the Studio. I had to go up 4 flights of steps with my suitcase (and a lousy foot), but it wasn't that terrible, and now that I'm here, it does seem like a brilliant choice. The apt is beautifully decorated and homey, and, so far, my roomate's been really nice.

I'm going to the theatre today. I got a free ticket to a play, so I definitely want to take advantage of it and see the NYC theatre scene! Will recommend if good. A great week to you all!!
